Taylor Terry

Taylor Terry is a theater and film actress based in Hoboken, NJ, just outside of Manhattan. She is known for her quirky, sweet, and deeply honest presence on stage, paired with a vibrant energy and emotional openness that makes her performances feel both grounded and alive. Vocally, she brings a dynamic mix belt with soprano clarity, allowing her to move seamlessly across styles and roles. A naturally versatile performer, Taylor is drawn to characters that feel human, specific, and full of heart.

She is currently performing professionally with Pittsburgh Musical Theater as an ensemble member and understudy for Zoe Murphy in Dear Evan Hansen ( Broadway World Article ). Her previous work includes Off-Broadway performances, most recently as Little Red in Into the Woods at The Flea Theater, as well as appearances at Paper Mill Playhouse and leading roles in regional and educational productions. Her work has been recognized by the Paper Mill Rising Star Awards and the Montclair State Theatre Awards.

Outside of performing, Taylor is graduating this May from Stevens Institute of Technology with a degree in Computer Science and will continue there to pursue a Master’s degree in Machine Learning. She works as a software engineer at Rumor, a high-growth cultural events startup featured in Forbes . She is also currently co-founding and building Showcase, an early-stage startup focused on solving the fragmented networking and audition discovery process in the theater industry. In addition to her work on stage and in tech, Taylor is also a professional DJ, performing at venues across New York City. Her work as a DJ reflects her love of music, energy, and connection, and has become another creative outlet where she brings people together through shared experience. ( DJ REEL )

While Taylor is deeply engaged in technology, theater remains at the center of everything she does. Her work in tech is driven by a desire to support artists and create better systems for creative communities.
